CHAPTER FOUR
OF CREATION

I. God created the world (all things visible and invisible) ex nihilo
    (no pre-existing matter) in the space of six days and all very
    good.

II. The Creation of Man

        A. Male and female

        B. With reasonable and immortal souls

        C. Endued with knowledge, righteousness, and true holiness

        D. After the image of God

        E. Having the law of God written in their hearts and the power to fulfill it

        F. Yet under a possibility of transgressing

        G. Left to the freedom of their own will which was subject to
             change

        H. The law was written in their hearts.

        I. Received a command not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which while they kept
            they were happy in  their communion with God, and had dominion over the
            creatures
